Poetry Person

So, this week's WordXWord in Pittsfield was a feature performance by the inimitable Jon Sands, who performed the linked poem, as well as a number of other beautiful pieces which really impressed me. Next week is an invitational poetry slam which will consist of three somewhat famous New York Poets including Omar Holmon, and three somewhat less famous Berkshire poets, including yours truly. I just now finished writing a new poem that may be too twisted to perform next week, but I am strongly considering it anyway because I sort of want to share it even though it is decidedly not the type of poem one uses to win slams.

In other news, my column this week is about Living in Denial.

And if anyone has some free time (ideally before the end of the month) and wants to playtest a deckbuilding game I've been working on, please let me know.
