Been listening to the Klezmer channel of Internet radio for the past hour. But none of it is as cool as the Mexican mariachi version of Hava Nagila I have on mp3 at home.

And yes, I finally lost resistance to this contagious phenomenon. But I'll probably just copy lesser versions of my website postings, so there.

Well, yes, now I'll be linking to my journal and quoting bits of it. Why don't I go do a quick background.

Woo-hoo! Welcome to the world of livejournal!

I find lj somewhat different from blogs, largely because of the whole interactive comment/conversation feature. I hope you like it here, too.

And we still need to picnic. Friday, mayhap?

Lookie, a conversation

Yeah, it is more interactive than my one-way journal. Though why my logistical conversations need recording for posterity I can't say.

Nevertheless, life is even more interactive, so yes, let's try to picnic on Friday. Email me your schedule, now that you aren't working at the Hut until noon.

You're on LJ! Huzzah! I eat a celebratory cookie in your honor! Okay, so really the cookies were provided by a coworker in honor of his getting engaged. I'm sure he doesn't mind my using them for other purposes.
