2005 Presidential Inauguration Special

So I had an idea the other night, and as proven with my versical translation of the 2004 presidential debate, when I get an idea that combines politics and rhyming I do not sleep overmuch until I carry it through.
I'm not as liberal as many of my friends, but I appreciate them. And I imagine at least one of them will appreciate this little song about George Bush that I've just written.
Part of the inspiration for this piece came from doing a different "We Didn't Start the Fire" parody with Lex. I argued that it's really sung as 6 syllables, and may as well be "we dint start the fi-yer", but he insisted that it was 7 syllables, which makes sense since "we didn't start the fire" is 7 syllables. We continued to disagree, so he asked an impartial third party who happened to be his wife, and she agreed with him. I was still not quite convinced, so I asked an impartial third party who happened to be a friend of mine who didn't know Lex at all. He also agreed with Lex. So, we co-wrote our parody with 7 syllables.
But now I've written my own parody, so I can use 6 syllables anyway, even though everyone else seems to hear two syllables in "didn't" in the song. I sure din't.

Sincerely,
