WordXWord Festival

So, all this week is the annual WordXWord Festival in Pittsfield, a celebration of spoken word that lasts a full week long, with various events every night, and incredible poets from NY, NJ, Texas, and Chicago, in addition to a few of us local Berkshires folks like myself. The entire thing is free (if you have no evening plans any night this week), and I am pretty excited for the Thursday night show, where nearly a dozen poets (myself included) will each perform a new piece written within the past week specifically for the festival, on the same overarching topic (Paper, in this case), but everyone having their own assigned subtopics.

My column this week was about the WordXWord Festivities, and last week I wrote about the CBS/Time Warner dispute, and next week -- who can possibly think about next week with all the crazy poetry and whatnot going on this week?
