Indie Pendants

This week I get a little political in my column about Patriot Games. But I ate a burger and a dog with friends today, so I think that's my patriotic duty fulfilled. Now I don't really want to do anything except not be overheated.

That subject line would be a lot funnier if I was an independent maker of pendants. But I'm not. the_star_fish, however, has been knitting up a storm, and will soon be selling socks. I realize July is not the prime time for wool sock acquisition, but I figured I'd mention it now, in case looking forward to winter and cold feet you were considering going to a store between now and then and buying inferior factory-stamped socks. Don't; you deserve better, and within a few months she'll have built up an inventory.
