Book: Based on the movie, about the book.

In a weird media crossover, I'm here posting on LJ, about this week's humor column in the Transcript, which is essentially an LJ meme.

My book keeps requiring more changes, which screws up all the anti-line-wrapping-over-page work that has been done, and is incredibly frustrating. Once I finish this batch of fixes, I really, really, really hope to be done, convert it to PDF, send it in, get my re-re-revised proof copy back, approve it, and finally have my book up for sale. Rest assured once that happens, there will be a large post.

In other news, I've been doing a lot of performing this month. A bit of rapping at a cabaret and an improv show last weekend, more improv this weekend, poetry reading as part of the Word X Word Festival in Pittsfield next week... it's good to get out on stage. Working on a book is such delayed gratification, and I really thrive on immediate feedback. Performing on stage is pretty much the opposite of writing a book.
