I had some kielbasa and beans for dinner. It was very tasty, but I'd had it for the past few meals, so I was in the mood for something else. I sort of had a craving for shrimp scampi, since I'd had a bit a while ago that I enjoyed, but it's long gone and no longer available, alas. The only real option I had time for (logistics!) was a few carrots and dip, which are not even as appetizing as the kielbasa, but at least they're a different food, so I thought I might enjoy the novelty value. Dip is sort of weird-tasting. Still hungry, though, so I may end up eating it even though I know it tastes sort of meh. Beanbasa is reliable and filling and not too unhealthy, but while I used to want to find the ultra-meal I could eat thrice daily for perfect nutrition, now I realize I just want variety for variety's sake -- even when the other food is inferior like carrots and dip.
