Well, my New Years week was awesome as usual. Tons of friends in visiting from all over the country, including many of you folks, so I don't need to say too much more about that.
Now it's back to reality -- specifically, the reality of the fact that all those things I said I'd do in 2009 need to get started now. This includes a final manuscript submission for GodToVerse, the beginning of work on the next book, and more aggressive freelance job hunting.
Many of the things I plan to do in 2009 are the same things I've done lots of this year. Hanging out with friends, playing board games, walking, the weekly humor column (this year's first column may surprise you), rapping, spending time with
the_star_fish, playing video games, etc.. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, it's a pretty neat thing to have my plan for the year consist mainly of "Do all that fun stuff you did in 2008, because 2008 was awesome." If I can do that and trade writing for money, life will be good.
Love to all of you.
