Why I want to be famous one day
Nov. 25th, 2008 09:30 pmIt's not to live in a giant house or own lots of fancy cars. It's because famous people get to hang out with the funniest people of their era.
denis77 recently posted this clip of Victor Borge playing with Dean Martin. And then when following a link about a new Allan Sherman box set being released, I came across this clip of Allan Sherman playing with Dean Martin.
Dean Martin looks like he had a lot of fun. I certainly appreciate my funny friends (and even my slightly less funny friends; it is almost Thanksgiving and my friends are at the top of my thankfulness list), but I'd like to hang out with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, which is pretty much something only rich and/or famous people get to do.
There's a new podcast at NewsInRap.com, a new chapter up at GodToVerse.com, and Rocky Road ice cream in my fridge.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, and thanks for being you.
