[livejournal.com profile] sen_no_ongaku was asking people for their glean on libertarianism, and comments ensued. This got me thinking about libertarianism as a movement again )

Entirely unrelatedly, a question for the Internet-savvy: I was googling "seth brown" the other day (as I do), and RisingPun.com was nowhere in the top 40. It had, previously, been solidly at number 1. The site was not down, I checked. It also still appeared as the first result when I searched "rising pun", so it's not as if it magically acquired anti-googlebot tags. This complete absence from the "Seth Brown" search continued for a few days. And today, suddenly, there it is back at number 1. Is there a likely explanation for this? I know rankings fluctuate, but this seems beyond that.
