How Not To Get A Job
Jul. 10th, 2007 01:16 pmI'm often bad at motivating myself to send emails to apply for jobs. One trick I use is to send myself emails with all the relevant info, and a motivating subject line, that way I have everything I need right in front of me in the email.
I just received a reply from a job I applied to, and realized that I somehow failed to change the subject line from my self-sent email when I forwarded the actual application.
So, it shouldn't really surprise me that I didn't get a job when the subject line of my email reads, "DO THIS SOON, POOPHEAD!"
Please kill me.
