Where Arrrrrrrr We?
May. 29th, 2007 02:19 pmAs I was mentioning to
pallasathene82, I don't travel well. I am always confounded by logistics and finding my way around. When faced with such difficulties, I'd often prefer to avoid them and hide in a glowing happy fun box of video games.
So late last night I'm playing Tales of Pirates, and I've got my ship travelling the ocean. And instead of engaging in thrilling sea combat, or finding the skeleton fish I'm looking for, I spend literally 45 minutes just sailing around being lost. I could not find anything I was trying to find. Eventually I gave up and, by using the game's coordinate system, at least managed to return to my home port.
Speaking of travel, read the tale of my delightful train trip in my most recent column.
