Metro Stradivarius: a retrospective
Apr. 14th, 2007 12:36 amWhen I first read this article about one of the world's greatest violinists playing in a metro station, I thought it was cool, and forwarded it to a few musical friends. But in the following days, I kept thinking about it. I eagerly read the online chat hosted by the article's author Gene Weingarten. I repeatedly listened to this recording of the whole 45-minute concert. The article started popping up on some of your journals. And in the end, I even ended up writing this week's column about it.
The column is more serious than usual, but I figure I make up for it by the fact that I've finally added most of my 2007 columns to RisingPun.com, as well as a blog entry.
Unrelatedly, it turns out there are few things more fun than the combination of
