'Nam! One of my applications for freelance work just came back, and it looks like I'll soon have got another book lined up! It's a collection of profiles of soldiers who were in the Vietnam War. It should be pretty interesting; they want a lot of different perspectives (both pro-war and anti-war), so I'm supposed to round up roughly 250 people to interview and get profiles for.

Don't bother sending me names and numbers yet, because we're still in final contract negotiations. The only downside of this is that I'll have to put off working on my own stuff for another year, but that's a small price to pay for the chance to do this book!
