A good weekend.
Mar. 6th, 2007 11:57 pmMy father was surprised to see that my brother and I had come home to RI on Thursday night. And so was I; I hadn't expected to go until Friday, so I wasn't really packed. Nonetheless, we celebrated his continued existence with tasty food like Raclette, which is vaguely similar to fondue but less goopy. The important parts (cheese and heat) are still there.
Then it was off to Boston, ( where namedropping is what I do. )
And now I'm back. Those of you who were curious about the sea-shanty mentioned in my earlier post* can read a few verses in my most recent column.
*technically none of you, judging by the comments.
