Downs and Ups

I was supposed to hang out with a guy this weekend, but he didn't answer or return any of my calls. We've set up numerous meetings before and he's always had a reason why it couldn't work; perhaps he's uninterested but too polite to say so. I hate politeness, and would prefer if people were just honest about whether they didn't want to hang out (and for that matter, most other things too).

I finally made some food for myself. After picking at leftovers and bad frozen food last week, I cooked a tasty stew and some corn bread, of which I have leftovers for work.

The weekend was at half-mast, book-productivity-speaking. I was supposed to write 2 profiles a day. I wrote 1 profile a day. Which, okay, is still progress, just not as much as I'd hoped.

And finally, as you might have guessed from the icon, more news on the rap front. Ham-STAR has released a brand new track that pays homage to one of the greatest Nintendo games of all time.
