Captain Logistics!

Back from a busy weekend. Saw and hosted many friends, who were in visiting for various reasons, including the reception for a couple that was married 6 months ago (not a wedding, as I erroneously had posted last week). But at least I got there at the right time. This far trumps my Monday night, which consisted mostly of bad planning.

I was supposed to meet the lovely squirrelhaven for dinner, but the weekend's events had drained this from my mental appointment calendar, and I failed to show up. Later that evening, Lex failed to show up for our weekly online meeting. After two failed meetings, I wanted to see someone that evening, so I invited the_star_fish to come hang out, and invited another friend to come over and join me for a walk. Naturally, when theStarFish arrived, I was non-present, and out on a walk.

Tonight, I am off to a poetry slam at Cafe Latino. It's sad to miss gaming group, but I missed the June poetry slam, and feel I should take the chance to toss out the rhymes now and then. It starts at 9, and it's open to whomever.

Whomever is an odd word.
