Yo yo yo. Ham-STAR here, filling in for Seth. He was busy putting up this week's newscast, so I figured I'd jack his LJ and drop you a word.

And here's the word: Nerdcore. Though it's been a few years since I applied to Blackalicious (as those of you who follow my history know), I've still been itching to get back on the rap scene. And I think I've finally found my genre: Nerdcore Rap. According to MC Frontalot, it could reign supreme.

What do you mean "MC Who?"?? Frontalot is the godfather of Nerdcore, and I recommend his songs. Heck, Ham-STAR recommends songs by many of his fellow Nerdcore rappers on the new compilation album. Oh, did I mention that I've got a song or two on the Brand Spankin' New Nerdcore Compilation Album that was released today, 4 discs filled with Nerdcore Rap that are completely free for you to Torrent? I may have forgotten that. In fact, I don't know if it's released yet, but I even got to do a minute in a big posse track, between two of my favorite Nerdcore MCs -- Doctor Popular and MC Plus Plus.
