Weekend Update: Captain Good Memory Rides (Walks) Again

Friday, I joined tsiarxof, lovedrunk, mookyman, and one of their friends (D.) to go see a midnight showing of Airplane!. There was a trivia contest, and when the spotlight was on me, I failed. I knew I picked the wrong day to quit smoking, quit drinking, and quit sniffing glue, but I blanked on amphetamines, so the DvD was not mine. (D. knew that Leslie Nielsen had the Lasagna for dinner when the choices were fish or steak, so he won.)

Saturday, the_star_fish and I hit the Clark Art festival. The field of screaming children deproved the bluegrass music, but the fireworks were good, and I approve of visiting museums at night (even if the art can't hold my interest long).

Sunday was graduation, where the professors I glimpsed in the procession managed to avoid me during the reception. Still, in addition to the expected graduates (galorette, pallasathene82, etc.), I was pleasantly surprised to see g_me, k_ericson, and nescio17.

I thought I remembered that I was supposed to meet a friend in Williamstown for a walk, so I called her, but got no answer. I decided to just walk home, which I'd been meaning to try for some time. Two and a half hours later, I arrived home to be told that sylvantechie had called and wondered if he and I were still on for our walk today.

Oops.
