The Joy of Lex
Feb. 1st, 2005 01:08 pmSo, recently I've been writing some parody songs with my friend Lex, who may well be the funniest person I know. This has been great fun for me, and
dooneling has been very patient with the terrible singing emanating from my room. All of this would be a rewarding experience even if all we did was write for our own amusement. But Lex is in California, land of opportunity, and he also (like most featherless bipeds) is better at marketing than I am. So thanks to him it's quite likely that one of our songs, albeit in truncated form, will be flash-i-fied and put on the Internet (perhaps as e-card) in the next two weeks.
This makes me very pleased.
Also, I've got a good schedule coming up this month.
Thursday: Friends who I don't see enough over for cards.
Saturday: Music and Story Party.
Following Saturday: Steven Wright.
Saturday after that: Home to see if I really did leave $370 in an old bank account from my childhood about to revert to the state that they won't let me access online or over the phone because I've lost all the account info.
