Ups and down
Up: A fantastic evening tonight, seeing a performance of Plato's Apology with a mix of friends I normally don't see together (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
winterborne and neurosophy among them), and then hanging out with them for a while afterwards.
Down: At 7242 words, my NaNoWriMo novel is behind schedule and not going anywhere fast. The lack of compelling plot does not help this.
Up: The way things are going, there could well be enough good in November that even if my NaNovel doesn't work, I won't mind. (see previous posts re: Thursdays off, balance in the universe).
