So, some weeks happened.
Mar. 6th, 2013 11:51 pmGuess I haven't updated this in a while.
Improv musical went pretty well, and finished out my February performance month. I have not as of yet returned to working hard enough on my book. Should probably change that. It's been more Path of Exile, and the crunch time of getting readied with Legend of the Cipher to prepare for PAX East. (Anyone going to PAX East? Stop by our booth and/or panel! I know that
ltcmdrwhitman and
ultiville will also be there working panels and booths, respectively if not inclusively.)
Here is my column for this week, about the Blue Man Group. Here is my column for last week, about why I am living backwards. Here is my column from the week before that, where I write about the fact that Rhode Island's Senate is considering a marriage equality bill.
Sometimes I think Facebook is for boasting and Livejournal is for complaining and introspection. But I have to boast here -- after coming back from visiting my parents (and
lynnini), we stopped at an Asian market and bought tons of stuff. So it was the other night that
the_star_fish made Pad See Yew. Sure, you can spell it however you like, but the momentous thing about this occasion was that I think it completes what was heretofore thought impossible: She has now made every one of my favorite restaurant dishes. Massaman Curry, Bibimbap, Moussaka, Pad See Yew, Carnitas, Pad Thai, Spicy Peanut Chicken Stew, Gyoza,... even the Snails in Delicious Sauce from Espana! Combined with the fact that she makes some decicious dishes I've never even had at restaurants (e.g. Squid over Coconut Mango Rice), I am a lucky, lucky man. (Not to mention my amazing friends. I think in a past life I must have saved a thousand lives or something similar to have earned such good karma.)
