Patriotism

Patriotism is an odd thing. And I don't just say that because it's the topic of this week's column. I spent most of today chatting with a friend who last year put together a wonderful little art show about patriotism. He has one piece from that older exhibit up at a new little juried art show called "End of an Empire" at the Grass Gallery on Main Street in North Adams, where I spent the afternoon.
