For someone who doesn't do anything...
Apr. 27th, 2010 07:15 pm...I've been remarkably busy. Various walks and picnics and gaming sessions have gotten me out of the house this past week or two, and I hope the trend continues. In fact, in a few minutes I'm off to a free songwriting workshop being held down the street. Meanwhile, performances continue to go well. Last weekend's improv show was quite fun, including a round of "Scripts" where I starred in a game that went much better than it had any right too. And the poetry reading I featured at earlier in the month seemed to be well-received.
Meanwhile, the past few days have been "catch up on all the writing". Got my column in early, so I'd have time to write an article based on interviews with people, some of whom (naturally) never returned my emails or calls. But I did have a few interviews, one of which was very good. I responded by giving the guy lots of space in my article, because when you give information to the reporter, he can write about you and offer free publicity. So, even if I was technically up way too late (which is not as easy as it used to be), at least I got things in on time. Sadly, it meant I didn't really start today until 3pm, but I guess I'll just do my book review tomorrow. And then get back to work on my book, which I really to buckle down on this week.
Today for lunch I had fajitaghetti. Yep, it was leftover day. And I have new board games coming in the mail from a trade, yay. Oops, am late, must go.
