Trying to have a good weekend anyway

This weekend (even though it hasn't happened yet) has been very frustrating, with a cavalcade of plans that fell apart, only some of which were my fault. So it turns out I won't be going to see a musical, or co-recording a two-man song I wrote a while back. Oh well. At least I've got a busy day planned out for Sunday.

Speaking of recording, as some of you know, I created a (rapping) radio ad for a quasi-local martial arts studio. (I know, when you think martial arts, naturally you'd think of me.) Today I got some news that made me smile: apparently kids are totally digging the ad, and one kid has even made it his ringtone. How awesome is that? I'm finally cool among the kids at school, and only two decades late!
