Halloweenies

Well, here I am at home with the_star_fish, giving in to the protection racket, and hoping that it works (i.e., no egg on the house like last year). Given my general dislike of Halloween these days, it may seem a bit hypocritical for me to write this column. But I think the sentiment I express therein is honest, even if I can't get into it.

Anyway, someone else told me that my site's RSS feed is fine, so I don't know why rssingpun isn't working. But it's not, so I'll just mention here that my new podcast has catchy new theme music, catches you up on the week's news, and is available at www.NewsInRap.com. It's only ten minutes a week, keeps you informed, and keeps me entertained.

Speaking of keeping me entertained, plenty of friends are in for Homecoming in an hour or so, and then it should be a grand fun railroad weekend. There's a part of me that mourns no longer writing and reading the halftime show, but all good things must come to an end.
