Back to Work.

So, I did some more thinking over the weekend, and I've decided to delay my job-leaving until next year. I figure I could really use the extra money, and I'm in no rush to go be a freelance writer full-time. I can always write later, and from what I've heard, being a full-time freelancer is overrated anyway. There's not really any money in writing (as I know too well), and right now I'm at a point in my life where playing it safe and accumulating a little more money is a lot more important than doing whatever I want just because it makes me happy in the now. Hopefully in a year -- or possibly two or three -- I'll be able to actually quit and write full-time.
