Turns out this week has been a non-stop stream of houseguests. phaedrusdeinus showed up for an evening, my best friend from highschool (and wife) drove up for an evening, and dwhistler will be here tomorrow. Then I'll switch gears and spend a lot of time at other people's houses. Yay New Year's.
