What Dreams May Come
Oct. 1st, 2007 10:45 amIt is said that few things are as boring as other people's dreams. But you be the judge; here are dreams I had this weekend:
*The Spanish Recording Industry is mad at me, because somehow, the Mahna Mahna song has severely lowered their profits.
*I am in some sort of jungle being hunted by bow-and-arrow wielding natives who are thankfully inaccurate with their bows and arrows. But the plot itself is not why the dream was interesting. A few times, the dream switched from usual dreamscape (first-person view from my eyes of trees and cliffs as I run around) to me reading a novel (first-person view of two pages of a paperback, with my thumb holding the page open), and the plot of the novel and that I was experiencing were identical. I found this cognitively fascinating, especially because the point at which I woke up was not the usual running away and wondering if I make it, but "No, there were only two pages left in the chapter, I was wondering if I make it."
*I help bake and then consume an apple-cheddar-emu pizza.
swagmonkey,
froggish_elf, and StW are all there baking and eating with me as we sing emu songs, and everyone agrees the pizza is delicious.
Oh wait, that last one wasn't a dream. It was tasty, tasty reality.
