I didn't expect to be talking about politics on 9/11, because I was ignoring it. But this article about conservative and liberal brain function was too interesting not to pass along. Basically, the study seemed to suggest that conservatives have more ability to ignore distraction and liberals are more open-minded. Sure, it's not necessarily conclusive or rigorous or statistically valid... but it's still fascinating. I'm curious to know whether liberals and conservatives would get different results in the basketball video experiment (click on "watch basketball video" after reading that paragraph).
