Two things I got to do a lot of this weekend. Which is handy, given that those were two of the main things my summer was lacking.

Friday night [livejournal.com profile] ethicsgradient chatted with me as we walked around North Adams. Saturday, I bantered with [livejournal.com profile] g_me and [livejournal.com profile] k_ericson as we explored New Paltz. On Sunday, I hiked around a NY lake while talking with [livejournal.com profile] ppaladin, a barefooted [livejournal.com profile] galorette, and a high-heeled [livejournal.com profile] muskatgumi. And Monday, I walked around Williamstown picking up my poorly-thrown frisbee while relaying my score in hexadecimal to [livejournal.com profile] kmunson779, [livejournal.com profile] shellaby, [livejournal.com profile] mhorai, and [livejournal.com profile] silvarwyrm.

Meanwhile, I remain incapable of logistics. Normally I don't set things up. This time, I carefully planned out rides in both directions and my hotel stay. All three of them didn't want to work out as I planned. And if my original plans had gone through, nothing would have worked out anyway, due to other circumstances too stupid to recount. Suffice to say I hate plans and plans hate me, but I got where I needed to go thanks to some of the aforementioned folks. Oh, right, and congrats to [livejournal.com profile] kimberkit and [livejournal.com profile] entropicangel.

Now it's September, and everyone's back to school. Maybe they should take my courses.
