A fine weekend.

Other people have provided/will provide much better descriptions of the weekend events, but basically, I got to see a number of old friends (including those trapped in the deep south), ate delicious food, listened to some clever toasts, and played a hilarious game of oracle. Oh, and there was something about sigerson and sen_no_ongaku hanging out for the rest of time too, which is very good luck for both of them.

Naturally, at such a formal affair, it's important to be on one's best behavior. That's why I'm glad that I write a Manners advice column.
