A little rain must fall...

The past 7 days have not been ideal. Having finally hooked up my new computer, I'm getting crashes I wasn't getting on my old computer, and the wireless connection isn't working right. When I went to the reunion on Saturday, the people in visiting I wanted to see were all running around so I didn't get to see them much, and the people on campus I tried to visit were non-present. That night, I gave the *worst* impromptu poetry performance I can recall ever giving. It was much worse than every other poem read, which is quite different from how it normally goes. I had to throw out $6 worth of brownie mix today because it was infested with bugs. My recent freelance pitches were all rejected. And at work now, the sound on my computer isn't working, which is preventing me from doing a significant portion of my job.
Even my column from Friday is not quite up to my usual levels of goodness.
But I'm going to turn the week around. Last night I did some freestyling online, tonight I'm having an old friend over, Wednesday is gaming group, Thursday I'm going to see a production of the Mikado, sometime in the near future I'm going to acquire a
the_star_fish, and eventually I will get my writing back on track again.
Harrumph.
