I know I tend to avoid photos like the plague, but the modern world seems to like watching videos of things rather than listening to them. So, I've got these songs I've written, and it occurs to me that if someone made a video of/for them, it would be useful for me. As an added bonus, it might well be fun for people making the video. At a baseline, I'd perhaps like to borrow video eq at some point. But I'm not terribly good on video, and don't have props and costumes... really, much better would be to have other people help me make a video with a bit more class, perhaps a Lazy-Sunday-esque joint with somewhat lower production values. Anyone out there who might enjoy making a music video?
And speaking of recording things, Wednesday the 6th is the December poetry slam at Cafe Latino, and if logistics cooperate, I may try performing my first ever public freestyle rap. Everyone's welcome to attend, of course, but if anyone wanted to show up and record my performance so I can transcribe it later, that'd be handy. I prefer freestyling poetry to memorizing it, but it means I never know what I wrote.
Yesterday was October, and much as I am looking forward to the latter part of this month, I really need time to stop for a few weeks now.
