Bucket O' Links
Nov. 13th, 2006 05:34 pmIf I had any more links for you today, I'd have to make a golf course.
First of all, I promised to post the Homecoming Halftime Show which I wrote and read last week. While I was updating my site, I also updated my Column Archive.
Some of you have probably heard about the whole 6-word story thing where famous authors try to write a story in six words. (I believe
minyan posted about it, among others.) Anyway, This Week's Style Invitational Contest is to write a 6-word story. You should enter a few. Six words, for the chance to see your name in the Washington Post. Heck, if you look carefully at the results in that link, you'll see
nescio17's name in there already, as well as my own.
And finally, I've come across a trio of video links that are interesting for different reasons:
I was talking about this awesome music video 3 Feet Deep last week, based around a rap video game. Not a video game rap, but a video game about rapping in Karaoke Revolution/DDR style. Must be seen to be believed. If only the game were real, I'd buy it.
While this link should not be used by the easily offended, as a historical curiosity I think many of you will be interested in seeing disgustingly over-the-top stereotypes in this collection of Banned Cartoons.
And finally, in the category of WTF bizzarre, here is a video of Jack Black and Andy Serkis singing Grease
