Romance in the time of Mushrooms

This weekend I attended a going-away party for
neurosophy. She will be off to a non-Boston Cambridge, in the land of Eng, and will be missed. She's a fine individual. (And for
dooneling's benefit, I'll give the detail that she takes on philosophical concepts with unmatched passion.)
Then I went on a hike with
sylvantechie to look for mushrooms. Yes, outside. I know, I'm as shocked as you are. I normally don't leave my desk, but he's just such a fungi. We talked a bit about intentional community, an idea that continues to appeal to me, though I don't think I'll be able to join/create one with my friends in this lifetime, unless I achieve a watershed of money and/or luck.
