Finally, Wordplay is playing at Images next week. This looks to be a fascinating film. I plan to go on Tuesday at 9, because it's twofer night. And I bet I can convince the_star_fish to join me. Maybe you should come see it with us.

A good way to kill 20 minutes.

This week's newscast is now available, now with even less professionalism. My limerick for BBSpot this week isn't as funny as previous ones, but it's true.

And while half of you have already heard about it a dozen times, the half of you that haven't should know that stealthmuffin has a new story called "The Welsh Squadron" up on Strange Horizons. It's in two parts, which for simplicity's sake I'll refer to as part 1 and part 2. She writes incredibly compelling short stories, which you need to know to understand that when I say I don't think this one stands out above her usual work, I don't mean to denigrate this brilliant story in any way, I just mean to say that every time I get to read one of her new stories (especially if I get to read it before other people) I am excited. And I want more from the worlds she creates, with the Tarot cards and the Stone and so forth. So, take that, stealthmuffin -- I refuse to be surprised by your great story because you always write so damn good.

What do you mean, "So damn well"?
