Back from vacation, I must return to the book project of doom. Between that, my other book on indefinite hiatus, and my dwindling Style Invitational appearances, the only thing in my writing life going right was my Advocate column. I returned to find that they hadn't run me in two weeks, but hopefully that will soon be fixed.

Luckily there is some good news, namely that I'm finally making a nice appearance on BBSpot. This humor/satire website is worth checking out in general for the brilliant parodies he does of the featured personals (usually he has up a mockery of one of the four featured nerve ads), but this week it has more-- it has me.

First, my Different-Sex Marriage Ban article got printed in the Politics section. And then the Geek Limerick contest occurred, and although I didn't win like last year, my honorable mention this year was decent enough to garner faint praise from someone. Normally I wouldn't bother linking to someone else's laudations of my work, but [livejournal.com profile] elleliss assures me that since one or two of you read Dan Savage, you might be interested in his kind words.
