Bad timing
Feb. 14th, 2004 12:00 amSo, I heaped my interview responses all under one post, because I don't need more than one introspective post to worry about on this thing.
February is a bad month to begin with, but have Friday the 13th slide into Valentine's Day, and you've pretty much got a recipe for misery. And speaking of bad timing, I totally forgot that tonight was the contradance and not tomorrow, so I've missed that and am rather peeved at myself. Now I don't have the energy to write Valentine's Day poems to all the people I love this year, so here's one poem for the world:
Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
Valentine's Day sucks,
This remains true.
I'd link to the Valentine's Day column I wrote for the local paper, but in addition to killing (or maiming!) another joke, they've failed to post it on their website. No matter-- the column I wrote back in college still pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter.
